Feeling poopy :(

So I am into my third trimester and my stomach is hurting again, I am getting tired, and I have had a headache two times this week. I am getting back into the felings I had during my first trimester just not as bad. I just hope it doesn't get worse.

My friend Jessic ais also expecting and she is going through ther first trimester and she has it worse than I did. I hope it gets better for her like it did me. At least if you are feeling sick you know things are going good.

I was supposed to get my bedding in this week and of course the offices are closed today and will not call anyone back until Monday. I am getting impatient but only because I really want to get it set up. I really do not need it right now but I think it will make me feel better once it is in.

Happy birthday to me!

I had a great birthday day. The kids were good today and we swam for a little while. I cleaned up the house a little bit for Jeremy and went to eat at P.F. Chang's with my mom and sister.

My dad called me twice earlier today and never mentioned my birthday which did not surprise me. He eventually talked to my mom and she reminded him. When he called me a third time he told me happy birthday. I told him I figured he had forgotten and he said that you have to remember to forget. If you know my dad that comment would not surprise you. Unfortunately, I have the same memory when it comes to birthdays.

Jeremy is coming home!!

Jeremy is finally coming home after being gone for over 6 weeks. I am so ready for him to be here. I think he may be more ready than me.

Also, I would like to say that I had a great early birthday party today with the Kahler family. We had a good dinner at the Pizza Hut which is a great place to go with kids when they have the buffet. They surprised me with an ice cream cake! It was so yummy and the kids and I will have the rest tomorrow after swimming.

I am feeling as big as a cow these days. I am slowly feeling like a pregnant woman again. I have started getting hot, nauseated, and the braxton hicks contractions are coming a little stronger. I feel like I am going back to my first trimester, YAY! I am just glad Jeremy will be home to rub my back now!

Funny story of the day!

I went to see my sister at work today. I pulled into the parking lot and these two older gentlemen were parked beside me. As I was getting out they said, "lookin' good tonight." I was shocked to hear this since I am oh so preggo. After I got out of the car, I overheard then saying, " I didn't realize she was pregnant until she got out."

It took everything in me not to laugh like crazy as I walked by them. I guess I should be glad I still have it when I am seven months pregnant. It did make me feel better since I am beginning to feel like I am as big as a house these days. So I guess I should say thank you to old men is sports cars!

Finally talked to my husband

I was finally able to talk to Jeremy again tonight. He says the rumor is that he will be coming home next week. I asked him if they were holding them hostage. He said they look like they are because they have a new work uniform of orange cover-alls and an orange hard hat. I am sure glad Jeremy at least likes the color!

Some more Kahler funnies

So, I know I talk about the kids I watch a lot but I can not help it. They say and do some of the cutest things. This week has been another educational week on the topic of race/ethnicity. I guess the kids are becoming more aware of their surroundings.

The other day, Helen Rose was talking to me and she said the she was light white and I was dark white. Since she knows I am not black, I guess this is her way of separating different types of people.

Today we were driving through Warrior and there was a man riding in the back of the truck and the little one pointed out that he was black. I said yes he is. I then explained to them that God created everyone and that he just made people different colors. I also told them that people from different places may look different too. I then explained to them that we are in God's family no matter what they look at.

I hope they can remain indifferent when it comes to different people. I always try to help them understand that not everyone looks like them or me but we were all created by God and that we should treat everyone equal.

So Tired

I am about to hit my third trimester and the tiredness is creeping up. I think my major problem is that I have too many things to do on the weekends. I am hoping that it is because I have just had a lot to do and that this is not going to get like I was during my first trimester.

I attended my second childbirth class this weekend. It was so much better than the first class. I am one of those crazy women who wants to go through labor without drugs. I am not against them; I would just rather not use them. I am taking classes on the Bradley Method which teaches you relaxation techniques. I really like this method instead of just teaching you breathing techniques. The classes also go over other things that will occur during the time too.

Baby talk

I am wanting to keep up with not only how the pregnancy is going but also things that are going on around me. One of my favorite things that happens just about everyday is that the kids I watch love to talk to my belly. Usually they just lean over and talk or just run up to my stomach and talk to it. Today they little ones wanted to talk to the baby while we were in the pool.

Josh and Helen Rose were playing with the snorkel and would put their faces in the water and talk to the baby into the snorkel. It was so cute. They would take turns with the snorkel and tell Jasper to be a good boy. Sometimes I wish I could rcord it and show it to Jasper and the kids when they get older to show them how sweet they were. I know I will have tons of stories to tell Josh and Helen Rose about things they did since I have been watching them!

He is a mover and a shaker

I am lying on the coach right now and Jasper is soooo active. He has been so active the last couple of days. I went to the Dr on Monday and the Dr said that I am measuring right on time so maybe he won't be so big. If I haven't put it on here before, Jeremy weighed 9 lbs and 13 oz and I was 8 lbs 10 oz. I am hoping is is not too big.

I am really excited too because I ordered my bedding today. I decided to order it online because they were having a sale this weekend and also because there is not a store that carries it and they would have to order it too.
