Jeremy's Home!!!!

Jeremy is home!!! He has gotten his official packet to get ready to go to Mexico. I am really excited since the swine flu and drug wars are rampant down there. Jeremy said he was going to bring medical gloves and a respirator with him. They should be in a fairly safe and touristy part so I hope that will cut down of some of my worry.

Lost camera

So I am sorry I have not posted any tummy pictures. I can not find my camera and it is driving me crazy. I change purses too much and I can not find the purse with my camera in it. As soon as I find it, I will post some pictures. I do not have too much of a bump, but none of my pants fit at all. I am just glad all of my dresses still fit.

Today, I went to see Helen Rose in her gymnastics expo! She is four and she was so much fun to watch. All the girls would look at themselves in the mirror as they ran past and they all loved smiling for the camera.

I also went to Babies'R'Us today. I went with on of my friends/neighbor Mellisa Walker. I picked up a seat protector to use for the booster seat I keep in the car for Josh K. and we will also be able to use it when we put a car seat into the car. I also bought a fun diaper bag. It was on sale and it is so much fun! It is gold and shiny! I thought it would be my trendy mommy bag since I like to change bags all the time! I also want to get a regular diaper bag so Jeremy has something to use and this one is kind of on the big side so I know I need something smaller.

Dr. Appointment

So I had my 16 week appointment today! Everything went very well. I was really hoping I would be able to find out what we are having but I have to wait until next time. One of the ladies at church told me to drink a soda before I went in so that the baby would be active and that I would be able to find out the sex, so I tried that this morning. Even though I did not get to find out what we were having, the doctor had to chase the baby around my stomach to get the heartbeat on the doppler. It was so funny! She said, "Geez you have a very active baby." I know that it works now and will probably try it again for the next appointment.

I have finally gained some weight, seven pounds! My grandmother who always tells me I have gained weight told me that I actually looked as though I have lost some. I was so amazed to hear that from her. Everyone who knows my grandmother Godbey will understand.

Getting ready for the wedding!

YAY for wedding this weekend! I am heading down to Mississippi tomorrow to be able to help Jessy! I can not wait to see everything all put together. I am so excited that Jeremy is able to get off for the weekend so that he can be in the wedding and so that I will be able to see him!

I have to do crazy amounts of laundry tonight since our power has been off and I have not been at home much since. I have to have certain things washed for the wedding.

Me, Beth, and Helen Rose are going to get our nails done tomorrow! I can not wait to see Helen Rose getting her finger nails and toenails done. She is so girly and I am sure she will enjoy it (HR is one of the Kahler kids I am watching, just in case you do not know who she is).

We have power!

We finally have had our power turned back on! We have been out of power since Monday Morning at 2 AM. Luckily, everything besides our power is gas so I was still able to take nice warm showers and cook food. I did learn that I can not run the refrigerator and a blow dryer on the generator.

I forgot to say that the fence is finished that Jeremy decided to build. He built a huge fence in 2 1/2 days. It looks better than the professional fence that was already beside our lot. Now all we need is a playset out there and we could have the neighborhood playground! The new section that has been fenced off is huge.

Happy Easter!

I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!! We had a fun filled Easter. Jeremy and I actually got to sleep in late for the first time in a long time of Sundays. We went for the after mass festivities at church and ate lots of yummy food. After church, we went to my parents' house and got a visit from the Easter bunny! My dad said next year there would only be one basket and my sister was not so happy about that comment. My dad just laughed (so my dad).

For a late lunch, we went to my Grandmother Jolly's house. We have no kids in our immediate family so my grandmother invited her nephew and his wife, who has two boys. She REALLY wanted to hunt Easter eggs. We had a lot of fun! I helped the boys hide eggs for the older people in the family. I could not find my camera so I have no pictures to put up. The boys' mom took pictures that I hope I can get eventually because the boys just loved watching Jeremy hunt for eggs.

This week will be a crazy week. I am taking the boys to the McWane Center tomorrow since they are out of school and I am going to start getting ready to go to Laurel on Thursday for Jessica's Wedding!

YAY for Jessy's Wedding!!!

I promise to post more since Jeremy is gone!

Schedules and Fences

As I have mentioned in the a couple of posts that I am watching the Kahler kids, I am learning what it takes to run a family. Diane printed out a monthly schedule for me today and I could not believe how busy having three kids could be. I know that I am going to want to do everything for all of the children I may have and when you have two and three it seems to fill up every hour of every day.

Jeremy had a very busy day today. He pulled up bushes and cut down a small tree. After dinner, we went to Lowes and he bought 4x4s for our fence expansion. He has to make a bunch of phone calls in the morning before he can start digging holes. If he is able to start when he wants, we may have a new fence built before he leaves for work!

WOW! It has been a while

I did not realize until today that it has been so long since I have been on. From Sunday to Tuesday we were in Laurel. I got to go and see Jessy's bridal pictures. They were so beautiful! I remember taking my own. It feels like so long ago but it has only been a little over two years.

Jeremy got back from work on Monday and picked me up from Jessy's and we went to see his family on the way back to Birmingham. We were only there for a couple of hours but we had so much fun. We got some happies for the baby from his Nanny and Aunt Faye. Nanny gave use a beautiful blanket and and silver spoon. Since we do not know what we are having yet, Aunt Faye gave us some socks for a boy and a bow for a girl. I can not wait until may when we can find out what we are having.

While we were visiting Jeremy's family, we got to see his cousin's little girl Rheagan. She was so amazed that I had a baby in my tummy. Rheagan will be two in June. If you asked her were the baby was she would point to my tummy. It was so cute. I can not wait to see her holding the baby. She will have her own live baby doll to play with when we visit.

I am starting to watch Diane's boys in the afternoon after school from now until school gets out. I will be taking them to baseball practice too.

Geez that was long!
